Jeff Cheatham is the founder of Creative Content, a full-service copywriting and media outreach firm. With 20+ years of high-profile experience and a strong agency background, Jeff brings an innate understanding of how best to provide these primary services in an operational environment that’s more-efficient and scalable.
For brands and companies seeking assistance with messaging and awareness, the value proposition is simple. Creative Content offers the opportunity to work one-on-one, with a streamlined approach to onboarding a client, setting measurable goals, putting a plan in place and getting started. It’s an intense collaborative philosophy Jeff equates to what he deems a “Swift Boat” approach.
Jeff began his career in advertising as an account executive, later pivoting to integrated marketing communications. He specializes in finding exactly the right words to represent his clients (copywriting), while making sure they achieve earned media coverage for their efforts (public relations).
For over a decade, Jeff lived and worked in North Carolina, handling public relations in the fast-paced world of NASCAR, where he represented several top drivers, sponsors and teams on a national stage. After returning to Dallas in 2013, he headed up the city’s public relations effort for the JFK 50th Commemorative Memorial Event in Dealey Plaza. His most recent agency work included the client management and supervision of global, national and local companies represented in multiple business industry verticals such as professional services, IT solutions, health care, cybersecurity, commodities, manufacturing and consumer goods.
Jeff is the current Director of Partnerships and Networks for the Dallas Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Chapter. He’s also a frequent guest lecturer for the University of Texas at Arlington’s Department of Communication and a member of the nonprofit 100 Men of East Dallas. He’s a half-marathon pace leader for the Dallas Running Club and enjoys participating in living history panel discussions. He’s been married to his wife for over 20 years and lives in East Dallas with the couple’s two rescue dogs, Lucy and Esme.
